Ignacio Cavalieri (Ar)

Tango DJ and Milonga Dancer Born in Chivilcoy, the hometown of Pascual Contursi and Argentino Galván, 160 km from Buenos Aires. In the 90s, I moved to the Argentine capital, where I began learning to dance tango, but I kept learning. In 2005, I arrived in Europe and, driven by nostalgia, I started organizing milongas, making music, and collecting vinyl records. I’ve been living in Ibiza for over ten years, an island that captivated me with its sea, its light, and its diverse people. My passion for tango is reflected in every track: I primarily DJ with vinyl records, a collection I’ve sought out and rescued from all over the world. I also work in digital format, using high-quality recordings and digitized versions from my own collection. I’m a regular musician at milongas in Ibiza and have taken my music to stages in Argentina, Italy, Spain, Hungary, France, Switzerland, Germany, Romania, and Thailand. My vinyl records have been featured in festivals such as: Workshop Milonga Sevilla, Krakow Vinyl Marathon de Oro, Roma Tango Festival, Ibiza Tango Love, Tanguissimo Zaragoza, Maracuentro Basel, Carillon de la Mer, Vinilo Budapest Encuentro, Transylvania Tango Marathon and All night tango, Tenerife, among others.
Gianpio Cappucchi (It)

His musical tastes range from the Old Guard to contemporary orchestras. The Golden Age of tango, in its classics, is what he most often draws upon in his musicalization; however, he believes that contemporary tango orchestras play a vital role, injecting contemporary and innovative energy into the tradition. As a TDJ, he opts for a diverse musical selection that satisfies both experienced and beginner dancers, making the milonga a welcoming space for all. Careful management of the milonga’s time and constant reading of the dance floor are crucial elements of his approach. He creatively strives to create a pleasant atmosphere, paying special attention to details such as tandas, curtains, silences, and sound quality. With a contagious passion for musicalization, he is a regular at Lição de Tango in Porto, where he began as a TDJ, but he also has extensive and valuable experience in various festivals and marathons, not only in Portugal, but especially in Spain. His journey as a TDJ has allowed him not only a deep connection with tango, of which he is a great connoisseur, but also the ability to create engaging atmospheres at various tango events.

Alfredo Costa Silva (Pt)

I have been dancing tango for around 20 years. I was the organizer and musician of some milongas in Lisbon, with a full house. I took several courses with world-class DJs, including my mentor Gabriel Sodini, with whom I had the opportunity to musicalize part of a milonga at the Catania International Festival and at the Tango Color Festival in Sant Feliu. I’m a fan of tangos from the golden age, I especially appreciate Juan d’ Arienzo’s orchestra and all rhythm orchestras.
